Help for Homeless Students
Did you know there are over 400 homeless families in Durham Public School? This is a serious issue. Jewels Outreach and Networking has partnered with DPS McKinney-Vento Program have committed to alleviating this. With your help, we can provide some immediate relief for these families.
We are asking for the following assistance for families:
Donations
- Gas cards
- Grocery Store gift cards
- Pampers & Wipes
Provide a Hotel Room
In addition, the McKinney-Vento Program has partnered with several hotels, so if you would like to pay for a hotel stay for families you can do so.
